ABOUT

Mairon is an author, fashion enthusiast and cosplayer from London currently living on the island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea.

He has studied and fenced at Durham University and has a master’s degree in petroleum geophysics from Imperial College London. He has sailed tall ships in the North Sea, chased storms across the Atlantic, explored caves on several continents and ridden across New Zealand fields.

These days he lives at a slower pace, spends time with his partner and their two rescue dogs at home on their tiny farm, from where he goes on marathon length hikes along coastal cliffs.

He writes stories full of adventure inspired by high fantasy, classic literary journeys and his own experiences. His debut novel The Octagon’s Eight released in July 2022, and the sequel Eight Above: Eight Below is written and in development!
